TDI PARENT COMPANY PARTNERS WITH ONE OF LARGEST ATLANTA MANAGEMENT FIRMS AT CHRISTMAS

An ongoing annual Christmas tradition, this will be BlueKey's (TDI's parent company) 8th year supporting disadvantaged families during the holiday season - and their third year partnering with the Cobb County Police Department and History Makers Iglesia Church to adopt local families in need.

BlueKey family, friends, and partners teamed up to help 4 needy families with children. One of the adopted families included 8 and 10-year-old sisters who had recently lost their 16-year-old sister to a long battle with cancer.  Another family consisted of a single Smyrna mom with four children ranging from ages 16 months to 10 years old.

All of the children were given stuffed Christmas stockings, wrapped Christmas presents, and brand new clothes.  The families were also gifted bags of groceries, a ham and a turkey, gift cards, and cash.  BlueKey President and owner, David Lewgood, dressed up as Santa Claus and read "The Night Before Christmas" story to the children, while the BlueKey "elves" set up the Christmas tree and filled it with presents.

Donor participation and community collaboration were so amazing, Lewgood is even considering creating a nonprofit called "Secret Santa Over Atlanta" to help more underserved families in the future.  A big inspiration for BlueKey's giving program comes partly from Lewgood's own childhood experiences:

"It was around my 13th birthday.  My mom was a single parent working two jobs and could barely afford to pay our bills.  I remember her telling me I wasn't going to get anything for Christmas because we didn't have any money.  The next thing I remember is our doorbell ringing and a line of people from a church filling our house with gifts."

Additionally, BlueKey partnered with one of the largest property management firms in Atlanta to help underprivileged families enjoy some Christmas spirit.  They donated to the firm's Angel Tree program, a non-profit giving project in which children write down wish lists on paper ornaments, and then donor participants fill their wishes.

Lewgood expresses his humble gratitude for all of BlueKey's success and the ability to give back in a small way to some of the communities where the company operates. One hundred percent of all the donations and resources donated to the program go directly to impact the adopted families and children.

BlueKey would also like to thank all the family, friends, and community partners who opened up their hearts to provide all the support and generosity necessary to make this Christmas special for the families fostered in 2018.
